Todays' podcast was about voter registration and the need for early voting. We as people do not take the time to go to the polls and vote. In this election we must take time know matter who you are voting for. There was a time in history when women could not vote but they finally got the right to vote in 1920. We as African Americans had to wait on the voting right act of 1965 and still today people in this country are trying to suppress to vote. We are encouraging people to register to vote find out when the deadline in your state is and get registered and vote early. Bishop Joseph Carr Sr. from Columbia Missouri our special guest today is going to tell us the pitfall that he faced and how God can bring us through it. Bishop Carr tell us how he was brought through Vietnam being shot a total of ten times on three different occasions. Bishop Carr went to prison on two different occasion and in prison is where he met Jesus Christ. Bishop Carr became a preacher in 1987. If that is not enough the last seven year he has face cancer head on and God is not through with him yet. Still Standing.

He has served as the Executive Vice-President of the Consolidated Missionary Baptist State Convention of Arkansas. Pastor Whitted has been Married 20 years and have 3 awesome children that is all grown up. He has 8 wonderful grandchildren and he is a servant of God.
